U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. - USESI is the country’s largest independent electrical wholesale distributor comprised of 13 regional businesses, over 100 years of experience, and more than 1,900 employees. 

Shift: Monday-Friday 

Hours: 7:00 am- 5:00 pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Processes telephone orders by quoting product, prices, delivery specifications and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate.
  • Assists outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
  • Establishes and maintains customer relationships, communications with customers and co-workers to provide technical information and recommendations.
  • Contacting regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Participates in training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
  • Gains familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
  • Estimating or quoting prices with delivery dates
  • Consulting with clients after sales or contract signing to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Provides follow-up for customer quotes and lost sales.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with minimum 2 years related experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of Eclipse or ERP software a plus
  • Able to prioritize work in multi-tasking environment
  • Able to meet tight deadlines, and follow up on commitments
  • Strong sales and customer service aptitude
